|Over Ripe Banana (Large)||2|
|Whole Wheat Flour||1 ½ cup|
|Refined Sugar / Brown Sugar||½ cup|
|Cinnamon Powder||½ tsp|
|Nutmeg Powder||¼ tsp|
|Vanilla Essence||1 tsp|
|Sunflower Seeds (Optional)||2 tbsp|
|Chopped Walnuts (Optional)||2 tbsp|
|Baking Powder||½ tsp|
|Baking Soda||½ tsp|
In a bowl, mash bananas and make a puree.
Mix refined sugar with the Banana puree.
Add ½ cup oil. I have used sunflower oil in this recipe. Mix it.
Add Cinnamon powder, Nutmeg powder and Vanilla essence to the mixture and stir it.
In a different bowl sift whole wheat flour with baking powder, baking soda and salt. Now add dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Fold gently.
Make a thick batter. Don’t over mix the batter.
Add all seeds and nuts in the batter and mix it.
Take a loaf tin. Place a parchment paper in it. Pour the batter into it and with the help of spatula, level it.
Bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degree for 30 minutes. Once done, take the bread out of the oven and de-mould it.
